About Me

My name is Jaclyn, and I am originally from California but am now living on the East Coast. I would definitely be labeled as a book nerd by friends, and have been reading for as long as I can remember. I think I was destined to fall in love with books from the very start. My mother reads multiple books a week and is an English teacher...need I say more? On most days I read fiction, but I go through seasons where I can't get enough of non-fiction as well. When I started searching for book blogs to help with reading material I noticed a lot of YA bloggers out there. I was hesitant at first, but have found some great YA novels as well recently.

I have been known to procrastinate on all of life's chores and responsibilities when I find a great book that I can't put down. One of my favorite things is to read a great book and then pass it along to a friend. I then pester them on how far they are or if they have finished it so I will have someone to delve into the details, surprises, and adventures that come with reading an amazing book. I decided that maybe it was about time to try a book blog out so my thoughts about books could reach everyone. Hope you enjoy the blog!

  1. Hi Jacklyn, I wasn't sure how else to contact you or where else to post this. But THANK YOU! so much for the wonderful Secret Santa gift! I have been wanting House of Mirth and Hyperbole and a Half for quite a long time. I dove right in to Hyperbole and a Half. :) Can't wait to get into the other. The candies are perfectly timed because I've been wanting some chocolate lately. I cannot wait to try the tea--it's been getting so cold here at night that it will be great to warm up with. I look forward to getting to know you through your blog. Thank you again! Lori
